Early Inspiration and Education
Dr Kudva chose dentistry after a personal childhood experience, where a caring dentist helped ease her pain and anxiety. This moment inspired her to one day provide the same comfort for others.
She earned her dental degree at A B Shetty University of Dental Sciences in Mangalore, India, which laid the foundation for her career. A defining moment came during Dr Kudva’s training when she saw a senior dentist calmly guide a nervous patient through a procedure with patience and reassurance. That experience shaped Dr Kudva’s belief that skill must always be paired with empathy and trust.
Creating Comfort and Confidence
Patients meeting Dr Kudva for the first time often notice her calm and approachable manner. She recognises that dental visits can sometimes feel overwhelming, so she focuses on building trust and creating a welcoming environment. “For me, being a dentist is not just about treating teeth—it’s about helping patients feel confident, healthy, and cared for.”
Over the years, her view of dentistry has grown into an understanding that oral health is central to overall wellbeing, and she believes education and trust are key to long-term comfort and confidence.
Ongoing Growth and Personal Balance
Alongside her dental degree, Dr Kudva has completed additional training, including ADC certification in Australia, and continues to update her knowledge through professional courses. She attends workshops to stay current with the latest dental technologies, ensuring patients receive modern and comfortable care.
Outside the practice, Dr Kudva enjoys family life with her partner and son, exploring the outdoors, trying new recipes, and reading.
