Cancellation Policy

Patient signing paperworkWe are a small, specialised business, offering a very personalised service—excellent quality dental care, at affordable prices. As with many service-based businesses, Kinross Drive Dental has a firm cancellation policy in place. It plays a crucial role in optimising our patient services.

One of the ways we achieve that is by efficient appointment times. Missed appointments or short notice cancellations represent a cost to us and represent scheduling problems for other patients looking to book in. Unfortunately, we cannot absorb the financial impact of missed appointments.

For appointments less than an hour:

We require 24 hours’ notice for any appointment changes.
Failure to attend, reschedule or cancel appointments will incur a $50 fee. This will need to be settled before rebooking.

For appointments one hour or more:

We require 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes.
Failure to attend, reschedule or cancel appointments will incur a $100 fee (or forfeit your non-refundable deposit). This will need to be settled before rebooking.

This information is included in our new patient welcome packs, as well as outlined in our patient medical history and consent forms.

Please note that the policy wording may be amended from time to time.
